Low Light Solutions (LLS) is a two-day course focused on the proper applications of a white light source in a chaotic/less than ideal environment. The world changes around you when the lights go out. Being able to employ a white light as a deterrent or positively identify a threat is vital in any self-defense situation. LLS focuses on how to employ your weapon system in a low light environment all while being able to understand the primary flashlight applications, techniques and search methods on both the handgun and rifle platform.

Being able to identify and define various lighting conditions
Light selection (handheld/weapon mounted)
Gear selection and placement
Low light / no light applications
Handheld flashlight methods
Basic movement
Shooting positions
Reload and weapon malfunctions under low light
Handgun/Rifle transitions
Use of cover/concealment
Positive threat identification
Understanding that Light is Noise

Student Materials:
Semiautomatic Pistol Chambered in 9mm /40 or 45 Caliber with a minimum of 3 magazines
Approximately at least 800 rounds of handgun and 800 rounds of carbine ammunition (Allows students to have enough repetitions to build and reinforce techniques)
A functional and practical carbine or battle rifle chambered in 5.56×45, 5.45×39, 300 Blackout, 7.62×39, 7.62×51. with a minimum of 3 carbine working magazines
Sturdy Holster w/ Belt
Magazine pouches
Handheld light (mandatory) Weapon light (optional, but recommended)
Spare batteries for light systems
4 chem glow sticks
Ear and eye protection (clear eye protection for low light)
Weapon lubrication/cleaning kit
Comfortable clothing used for strenuous activity (Pants only)
Food and Beverage​
